Haven't been on much, there's big stuff going on and I know I haven't mentioned it here but anyway,

Tom and I are moving next month into a great place - it's a drag to have to move again after only a year, but where we're living now is a bad fit for us, plus it's on the second floor and the parking is far away so it's just time to move on. The new place is on the ground floor, and the covered parking is right next to our door thank the Goddess!

Started getting into the packing because I just can't physically do it all at once anymore, me and my old friend Mark used to do it all the time by ourselves, which is probably why we both have crippled backs now, lol -- nowadays that's just not an option anymore.

I am being absolutely ruthless with throwing things away, channeling my inner Marie Kondo ("this no longer sparks joy, fuck off into the trash, you!"), and really throwing stuff out.

House of the Dragon (Fire & Blood) commentary was posted last night - it was weird doing the comments that way instead of through Facebook, but I managed to get it done - not crazy about the page layout but this whole thing is a work in progress anyways, not to mention I still have to go back and pour through my old FB posts to get the entire commentary for all four seasons of Stranger Things, as well as the previous postings for HotD.

On the job front, I've applied for a ton of part time jobs, and I expect good news by this weekend. I heard an acquaintance of mine ended up in San Diego with a job at Amazon, and they are paying for her housing and transportation. I'm happy for her, but damn I'm jealous. She just went and did the thing - bailed and started a new life and I have to admit I'm questioning my own methods here......

Job stuff....ugh. I let the folks at VB know that I can't do the full time hours because of being disabled - I gave it a shot but I couldn't sustain it. I asked them if there was some way to continue on in a part time capacity, but for now I just don't know. In the meantime, I've applied to a bunch of part time jobs so hopefully that will work out quickly.

In other news, the House of the Dragon commentary will be posted at some point later today - but I also got the email notification that Stephen King's newest book,  "Fairy Tale", just dropped yesterday, so that is new on my reading horizon! I'm still reading Fire and Blood, but I may have to put it down long enough to devour this new SK book, because it sounds awesome!!!

It's labor day in the US and as most other folks here, it's a holiday and a day off from work. I finally had some time to spare to figure out who I should do my website through, and I feel like Google is the right place for me. 

A new episode of House of the Dragon airs tonight and I'm super psyched to be able to do the commentary from my own site for the first time! New commentary should be posted no later than 9/06.
